I am trained and accredited as a porcelain art teacher and work from my studio in Monbulk in the Dandenong Ranges. I am currently working mostly in acrylics on canvas, enjoying the versatility of that medium.
I have participated in many joint and solo exhibitions and hold many awards including “Masters” in porcelain at the Royal Melbourne Show.
When we were growing up, all the children in our family were treated equally. No-one was left out or disadvantaged by one person’s illness, which was only “right and proper”, considering my sister with polio was the only one of us able to do cartwheels on our front lawn.
Plasters, splints and physios were simply a fact of life.
The cost to our mother – immeasurable!
